Forgive Us Our Debts

Getting closer!
Although the "Forgive Us Our Debts" capital campaign to pay off the mortgage officially "closed" on November 20, 2011, our dedicated members continue to send in payments. Our mortgage is now significantly below $100,000. In fact, as of December 12th, our balance is $77,604.27 Three and one half years ago we owed $1.1 million on our mortgage. Thank you to the 190 households who have given more than one million dollars since mid-2008. The generosity and sacrifice are humbling.

Many of you have extended your pledge and/or payments into our current capital campaign: "Let's Lose the Load". Money given to that campaign will finish paying off the mortgage, as well as pay for some much needed maintenance on our historic building.

It is not too late to pledge to "Let's Lose the Load." If you have not yet done so, and have the means and the spirit, please contact Roberta at the FCC office. As we share in the use of our wonderful building, so, too, we share in the responsibility to pay for it.
